LEMONS, WALNUTS, RICE AND WATER…..WHAT THE?????
My teaching is now based on a Bill Nye science demonstration he set up for his students during one of his television episodes. Having the good fortune of watching that episode and years later recognizing that it would revolutionize how an artist could evaluate the approach and problem solve issues that arise during the process of developing a painting has given my students an easy way to get to where they want to go with their work, in deference to style and/or ability level.
